Carly Morgan is a glass artist and teacher. She moved into the home her aunt left her in Fair Isle, a small sea side town, on Cape Cod. Fair Isle has a thriving art community, and Carly hopes to expand her business and make a home there. Recently, she fell and broke her foot, but with the help of friends and neighbors, she is teaching and working on new glass designs for the upcoming Holiday Market.
Jack Knight is a high power attorney who recently moved back to Fair Isle in pursuit of a better work life balance. He was the star quarterback when he attended school in Fair Isle, and since then he has acquired a reputation for womanizing.
The two meet when Jack’s sister, who is a wedding planner, asks him to stop by Carly’s glass shop and pick up an order of glass favors for an upcoming wedding. They are an unlikely pair, but they find they have a great deal in common. Despite the skepticism of their friends, Carly and Jack enjoy getting to know one another as they attend charity events and parties together leading up to Christmas.
This is not the Fall season either of them imagined. However, not all is blissful. Will Jack’s past come between them, or will they both find happiness and success in Fair Isle?
